Xarray-based builder for N-D hardware matrices.

This module provides a generic, facility-agnostic implementation that: - Uses canonical axis order given by Facility.hardware_axes (Backend, Frontend, then others) - Expands rules vectorially with wildcards and the special “Any” token - Detects duplicate coverage deterministically - Enforces full coverage (no Unknown leaves) - Returns the SAME nested-dict structure used elsewhere in the app

solicit.domain_layer.services.hardware_matrix_xarray.build_hardware_matrix(facility: Any) → dict

Build the N-D hardware matrix using xarray and return it as a nested dict.

Behavior mirrors Facility.hardware_matrix semantics: - Axes come from facility.hardware_axes - Domains per axis come from facility.axis_domain(axis) - Rules expand missing keys and the special “Any” token to the full domain - Decisions are “Allow” or “Deny” only - Duplicate coverage raises a ValueError with labeled coordinates - Full coverage is enforced; unknowns raise ValueError with labeled coordinates

Returns a nested dict, with leaf values as “Allow” or “Deny” strings.
